Lately I’ve been drawn to black windows, especially when paired with white moldings, either exterior or interior. I’m not sure what it is about this design choice that draws me in. The contrast just seems to make an ordinary window have such a presence. I’ve noticed it on houses in my area as I drive around. Living in Boston there are plenty of chances to see an example of this look since it is on so many Colonial homes.  It is not something I’ll be doing on my own home anytime soon so I thought I’d get it out of my system for now by sharing a couple images.
