Inspiration from the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston…
I visited the Museum of Fine Arts here in Boston a couple weeks ago and got some inspiration while viewing one of my favorite paintings. The painting is called The Daughters of Edward Darley Boit and was painted by John Singer Sargent. It is a huge painting (about 7 feet x 7 feet) of four sisters in a very untraditional portrait setting.

I’ve always loved the colors, the expressions of the four sisters, as well as the sheer size of the painting. While staring at it I started to notice the wallpaper behind it. It is a huge damask pattern in very subtle colors.
