the kitchen banquette {choosing hardware}
Now that the paint is dry it is time to start accessorizing my banquette. I was thinking at first to try something new and fun but the more I looked the harder it became to pick something. I have a mix of finishes going on in my kitchen between my chrome cup pulls on my drawers, the chrome knobs and the oil rubbed bronze lighting. Adding anything new to that mix would become too much. I decided to try and make this banquette look like it has always been there. I found a cup pull in the exact same size and finish as my drawers at Simply Knobs and Pulls. They had a huge selection but I reigned myself in and stuck with my plan.
Once my three cup pulls arrived they were a perfect match.
I centered them on each drawer and attached them. I have no pictures of this process since I was so excited to get them on I never picked up the camera.
Twenty minutes later and I had a whole new look to my drawers. And sturdy hardware that my children cannot unscrew!
The cup pulls are so much more substantial on these drawers. The previous hardware was very dainty on such a huge piece of furniture. I was afraid these would look too large on the drawers but they fit right in. Not only with the bench but the entire kitchen.
